For anyone who is feeling antsy about the upcoming election and wants to make a difference, the Sierra Club is looking for volunteers to help write 1 million letters to infrequent voters in swing states to encourage them to vote. Basically, you get emailed 25 letters with voter addresses, print them out, add a few handwritten sentences about why you are voting, and then wait to mail them until October 20. Note that you have to provide your own stamps and envelopes. I’ve decided to give it a try since I feel like I should be doing something more.
