Meeting for community and to discuss progress on local projects including:
- hellos
- organics composting
- Climate Network Calendar (sites to pull events from)
- Summer in-person meetings
- Suggested additional agenda item from Vern Simula:
- “Instigating the development of a Morris/Stevens County Food System Plan” (perhaps via a Stevens County “Food Emergency Preparedness Plan,” – as a hedge against future climate disruption impacts on our food availability.)

Stevens County Food Emergency Preparedness Plan
- Vern’s Plan
- Organize a leadership “Working Group” composed of “center-based” community stakeholders and all interested others to develop a “Food Emergency Preparedness Plan.”
- Emergency Preparedness focuses mostly on “what if the problem is local”, not about what if the system is broken and we suffer because of it
- Parties that would make sense as the “center group”:

- We will continue to think as a group of folks who might be more deeply ingrained into this work already with the goal of making friends and potentially bringing folks together for a conversation.
