Notes:
-
Community Check-ins
- Syd (she/they) had a nice time sitting in the garage last night during the storm.
- Anna has been going through the motions, but had a nice time hanging out with her parents. She is going to be working here over the winter (yay!) and is thinking about how to spend time with them in a shifting routine.
- Hunter’s parents also visited, appreciated the check-in. It is starting to be busy for him, his time is being clawed at between multiple jobs and volunteer opportunities. Spending time also with himself going on prairie walks.
- Garrett is aware of the seasons changing. Julian has gotten really into LAIKA films and Garrett is having a wonderful time sharing interests with his child. Garrett has been interested in goosefoot and Julian has started second grade!
- Susan has been watching the internet (youtube) learning how to do things. They are mending jeans, doing a lot more wood carving, and learning new stuff and experimenting with tools.
- Nic (he/him/they) went camping this week and saw the driest waterfall ever. They enjoyed looking at the rock and the erosion. They had ENORMOUS numbers of monarchs a few weeks ago, but now they have moved on and Monarch TV is over. Nic’s family is trying to figure out what to do with the dilapidated barn on the historic family property.
- Tina will be shampooing her carpets today because of her old man dog.
- Arden has been doing a lot more volunteering at PdT, been doing darning of her wool blankets, getting ready for the changing of the seasons. Last night they watched a bird fly in and hang out on the branch during the storm and then fly away when the storm ended.
- Kim thought the storm last night was cool, she was worried about her cat who was out there. She is excited for all of the stuff going on today, she is on book 5 of 8 in a series she is very excited about!
