- “Rural Reality: City transit, rural transit”: A valuable report from 2016 by the Center for Rural Policy and Development on the state of rural transit in Minnesota.
- “Tools for riders, transit providers, and more” contains a variety of useful links, including (indirectly) a map of statewide transit services which highlights how chopped up the state is when viewed from a transit perspective.
