Climate Change, Choral-Style (March 7)!

Bradley Miller & UMM have commissioned a stunning new work that will be receiving its world premiere this Saturday in Morris. The piece is a tribute to Rachel Carson. Each movement tells the story of a different creature whose habitat is facing destruction, ending with a dancing girl and asking whether we will leave her a silent spring.

There’s lots of other delicious stuff on the program, so I hope some of you can make it!

Oh, and I want to add that the composer and poet will both be here in person in Morris for a pre-concert talk at 6:45 PM, which is sure to address climate issues!
